HubSpot vs Pipedrive for growing sales teams, what actually pushed you one way or the other

we are at the stage where the lightweight setup we have been running is no longer cutting it. seven people on the revenue side, mix of inbound and outbound, and we need something that gives us real pipeline visibility and does not require a full time admin to keep it running cleanly.

been narrowing it down to HubSpot and Pipedrive and keep going in circles. Pipedrive feels cleaner and more focused for pure sales but HubSpot seems to make more sense if we want marketing and sales data in the same place eventually.

the thing i cannot get a clear answer on is how the two compare once you start scaling past 10 or 15 people. Pipedrive seems built for sales simplicity which is appealing now but i wonder if we hit a ceiling sooner. HubSpot feels like it has more runway but also more complexity to set up properly.

for teams that have used both what was the deciding factor and would you make the same call again at our stage?

Recommendations for affordable CRM and help desk software for B2B operations?

I run a physical B2B food services operation and am looking for recommendations for an affordable help desk and CRM.
I am specifically looking for tools that:
Help manage a mix of support calls and email inquiries efficiently.
Integrate well with automated workplace tools (Google Workspace/Excel-based workflows).
Are suited for a B2B model rather than high-volume consumer apps.
Would appreciate any advice on software that balances cost-effectiveness with a professional, minimalist interface.

Is Spam Master having issues?

Spam Master is blocking me from my Drupal site. My Macbook is blocked at home and at Starbucks so different IP. I got in once from my phone (Android, Chrome) but now it's blocked, too. The block happens after entering username and password. Error msg below. I reinstalled Chrome as hinted, no change. Is there an easy fix for this? Anyone else, or just me?

I suspect this may be caused by changing locations while signed in. Spam Master may consider IP change during a session malicious behavior. I do have a habit of just closing the Macbook.

• Product-focused layouts
• Drupal Commerce integration
• Performance-oriented approach
• Open source

• Drupal Commerce integration
• Performance and maintainability

Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks!

Drupal has been great for many years but...

We have to admit, it's losing market share... Drupal jobs often underpay, and most people are beginning to believe that static sites and other frameworks are better incorrectly.

I gave up on WordPress long ago because it kept getting hacked.

But the main question I have for Drupal is, where's it going for the future?

I'm really not interested in core bloat, the core is already huge. Also not very interested in Ai integration nor add-on libraries.

I expected e-commerce to get less complex, and modules & themes to expand, but it seems that versions are changing so often that community notes can't keep up.

I've been developing upon it since v4, hoping you guys can tell me there's a good leadership plan & future outlook for Drupal?

Also, I have contributed in the past, I don't have the ability to do so now.

Core Infrastructure Maintenance June 17, 2026, 09:00 UTC

Jun 17, 18:00 UTC
Completed - The scheduled maintenance has been completed.

Jun 17, 09:00 UTC
In progress - Scheduled maintenance is currently in progress. We will provide updates as necessary.

Jun 17, 05:53 UTC
Scheduled - Core Infrastructure Maintenance

Start: 2025-06-17 09:00 UTC
End: 2025-06-17 18:00 UTC

During the above time, our Engineering Team will be performing maintenance to failover some internal databases from one cluster to another.

Existing infrastructure, including Droplets and Droplet-based services, should continue running without issue. There is no network disruption to existing services expected as part of this maintenance. However, there are dependencies on multiple services. During the failover, there may be customer impacts that should be brief and transitory.

Multiple teams will be engaged to keep downtime to a minimum and mitigate any impact that does occur. We’ll post updates here for any unexpected changes to this scheduled maintenance, as well as progress updates during the maintenance itself.

If you have any questions related to this issue please send us a ticket from your cloud support page. https://cloudsupport.digitalocean.com/s/createticket
