I built a Simple Sales Recorder Lite CRM for Small Businesses
I recently launched an app called Simple Sales Recorder – Lite CRM on ios devices.
The idea was simple:
A lightweight CRM for small business owners who are tired of bloated software, subscriptions, and unnecessary complexity. Most CRMs today feel built for sales teams with 20 employees, endless pipelines, automations, AI features, onboarding calls, and monthly fees.
I wanted something simpler.
So I built a Lite CRM that helps:
Track sales
Save customer data
Manage products
Record suppliers
Generate invoices
Track financial performance
Export/import data
Work offline
Store everything locally on-device
No subscription.
No complicated setup.
No CRM training needed.
I thought this would be useful for:
Small shop owners
Freelancers
Dropshippers
Retailers
Solo entrepreneurs
But after releasing it, I honestly feel like there’s very little demand for “simple” business software anymore.
Most people either:
Use spreadsheets/WhatsApp forever or jump directly into big all-in-one SaaS tools
Now I’m wondering:
Is the market too small? Is “simple CRM” not a painful enough problem? Or am I positioning it incorrectly?
Would genuinely appreciate feedback from small business owners, founders, or anyone who has tried building SaaS/tools for SMEs. Also would love to know if you want any features added to the app, I do regular updates.
Search for Simple Sales Recorder on ios Appstore.
