I always wave at my cat when I get home and today he waved at me back!

Jackass neighbor licks this thumb and jabs my sidemirror every morning
| A month ago, he mistakenly parked in my reserved spot and I asked him if he could move his truck. He took it very personally and has been doing this bullshit every time he walks to his car. [link] [comments] |
Delivered my son and there was a terrifying discovery made
| I had my second son 2 days ago and he’s doing well! I had gestational diabetes this pregnancy and needed to be induced before 38 weeks. My OB wanted to induced 9/3 or 9/4 but agreed to schedule induction 9/7 because I still felt like there was a lot to prepare and I wanted my husband go on his yearly silent retreat even though he already planned on calling them and canceling. I had my 37 week appointment 9/3. NST and ultrasound looked good and no mention of blood pressure. I go home and an hour later my OB calls asking me to check my blood pressure as it was high during the appointment. I check it with my at home cuff and it was high. Went to maternal assessment center to be monitored. Blood pressure started off borderline high and then became high and increased with each reading. I end up induced that night. Next morning I gave birth and delivery was so much faster and easier than with my first. They place him on me and he cries right away. OB who delivered found the umbilical cord had a true knot in it. It still gave blood supply since it wasn’t pulled tight. He was realistic with us the next day that if he was bigger, he could have pulled that tight and horrible outcome. We are still processing that, and I am very grateful for that hypertension and getting induced when I should have. [link] [comments] |
