Kind of a rookie question I guess, but I am struggling to find the best practice. Here is the full view.
I have built a e-commerce website on wordpress. I am using kadence free as theme + I also have woocommerce (I use also polylang for translation, but unrelated to the topic i suppose).

I am starting to look at enhancing my product page, which looks quite kadence factory default. However, options in Appearance < customize are very limited. What would be the best way to remodel my page :

• build a child theme and directly modify css + php there ?
• simply change CSS in "Additional CSS" ? This part looks already quite messy and a future nightmare to maintain and add code snippet for php related stuff ?

Basically, the main features I would like to add would be the redesign of the image + miniatures display, add somes tags like the difficulty level of the product, its size. (those are existing attributes i have)
