I’ve been building WordPress websites for a while now, and for certain types of projects, searching for the right plugins often takes much longer than I expect. Most recently, I needed plugins for a WooCommerce project (a type of project I don’t usually take on) and it took me days to test and find the right ones (and try to avoid only paid plugins), checking wp.org, Google, YouTube, etc.... before finally settling on a solution.

For those of you who work with WordPress: what was the last feature you needed a plugin for?

Where did you start your search, and roughly how long did it take you to feel confident in your choice?
