Lost an old time client with a new web design and development project. The design was done nice design by a graphic designer. it was the dev side I Lost cause my time line to get a 31 page site from design to live was to long, I had it mapped out at being 2 to 3 weeks, approx 40 hours work. Anyway the client has got someone to do take the design and do it in lovable. It looks okay it doesn’t have the finer things they were requesting in quote stage, which I worked in the timeline and quote.

But funny thing is now. Within hours of the their new site going live I got a message “how do we login, to make changes.” Politely said you fill need to get ftp access and best to work with a ide so you can manage the code changes, oh and suggest you get familiar with GitHub for tracking changes. Now I’m waiting for the reply can you help us, with updates etc.

See as much as people hate on wordpress from time to time, it does have merits for managing content driven sites. Ai sites are also great. Horses for courses.
