First time Wordpress site builder here. So this whole building a Wordpress website is way more difficult than I thought initially. I say that because I had started with Shopify (easy peezy to do) but I don't like that you don't own your site at the end of day etc. So after watching a few Elementor videos on Wordpress felt the design process etc was somewhat similar to Shopify, so ditched Shopify and came over to Wordpress. Turns out there is way more involved than I anticipated, even though I was already expecting a steep learning curve moving to Wordpress from Shopify.

Don't get me wrong, I am muddling my way through and am kinda enjoying it to a certain degree (and will finish the site build myself), but as a sole operator of a new startup business I am wearing a lot of other hats in trying to get my business up in running and feeling time poor for it. If I had the funds at this point honestly I would just pay someone to complete the site build for me, but I'm not in that position just at the moment.

So my question is this, I will continue to finish the build, but if I find after launching my Wordpress site (next week or two?), if I get to a point whereby I don't have the time or experience to fairly keep up with managing the site, where do I go to get the site properly managed?

There is a local company where I live that do exactly what I am asking about, however I am aware of a couple of locals that have said that they are no good, and cost them time and money.

The reason I'm asking this now is cause I do expect that I will need to hand the site off to be managed (once I have funds coming into the business), but my main concern then is that I may possibly waste a number of months, time and money etc trying to find a reputable company that can do what I need, and considering what I am doing as a business, I just don't have the luxury to go through that process.

Are there any commonly known agreed large reliable providers that do 'full' WordPress site management, so that I can just concentrate on running my business. I've googled for such, but without experience don't know who is genuinely regarded as good or not in the industry etc.

About to build out my first Wordpress site. Being brand new with no experience been grappling with security requirements for build, learning what to do, how to implement etc. So on a previous thread a number of people advised to use Patchstack and 'keep one on eye on Patchstack' as part of a security plan for my Wordpress site. Never used Patchstack, I am building small lightweight eCommerce store, do I want the free 'plugin' or paid 'developer' plan they offer on their website at $79 a month.

For context I will be using Cloudflare and have paid premium version of Wordfence (already purchased), what version of 'Patchstack' would best suit this Wordpress setup?

So, about 3 - 4 weeks ago I started to build a Wordpress website (first time ever, I can't code etc), but I had not sorted out any security or domain for a my website (was using temp domain), I just started building it out and created some templates with Elementor that I plan to repeat throughout the site. However, someone from this subreddit fairly advised they felt that unwise and would leave myself vulnerable to site getting infected it not sorted security first etc.

I am now finally sorted with paid Wordfence plan security, and will be using Cloudflare security features etc, and plan to now start to create brand new install of Wordpress (delete old copy that I started to build just in case it got infected - I don't know if it is infected or not), and set up all security first properly in new install, and then get to building the site out.

Being I have no previous experiences with websites, my question is, are the 'elementor templates' that I created 3 - 4 weeks ago safe to download and use on the new site install.

I don't know if when sites get infected if the 'templates' are the sort of thing that get infected, or if that's just not a thing that happens cause it doesn't work that way. I have no idea how relevant any such issue would be to 'templates' if they are just essentially style sheets? I guessing?

For context it would probably only take me about one full day to redo all templates anyway, so if it's just safer to start again I can do that, just checking to see if I can save myself a whole days work that I have already done.

Any advice appreciated.
