I'm Hamza. I've been building Resolai for a while and it's now on the WordPress org plugin directory featured section. This is my one promo post so I'll keep it useful.

What it does

Resolai adds a chat widget to your site. It's backed by an AI agent that reads your pages, posts and PDFs, then answers visitors' questions from that content. Under each reply, visitors can see which pages it used, so they can check the answer themselves.

Why I built it

Most chatbot plugins I tried had one of three problems. They locked you into a monthly SaaS plan, sent every chat through their own servers, or gave confident answers that weren't on the site at all. I wanted something that runs inside WordPress, uses your own AI key and stays grounded in your content.

What's free

• The AI agent, trained on your site content
• Your choice of model through OpenRouter, including DeepSeek, GPT, Claude,
• Voice dictation, so visitors can speak their question
• Shows the sources behind each answer
• Every widget text can be translated
• A dashboard with all your conversations
• No messages or chats limit

You pay OpenRouter directly for what you use, with no markup from us. On a a typical small site spends very little.

What's paid

There's an optional Premium version with a WooCommerce skill (product, cartve nudges, a required email before chat and EU data routing. The free version isn't a trial. It works on its own.

I'd really like honest feedback, especially from people who have tried other chatbot plugins. What made you uninstall them? What would make you trust an AI answering your visitors?
