DLSite List - a self-hosted personal DLsite library

Hi everyone, I thought I'd share a project I've been working on.

DLSite List is a personal library for organizing your DLsite collection, inspired by MyAnimeList's "Cherry Blossom" theme.

It's a single-user, self-hosted project and the source is available under the MIT license.

I mainly made it for ASMR titles, and quite a lot of the UI uses that wording, but it can also be used with other DLsite works that have an RJ code - Games, Manga, Music etc.

I didn’t really like DLsite "Favorites" list or "DLsite Play". And Kikoeru and similar projects/sites weren’t quite for me. So I created my own little site.

Works can be fetched directly from DLsite or added manually. Once a work is in the library, you can edit its information and add things like current status, score, start and finish dates (basically MyAnimeList UI). For actually browsing the library, there are filters, sorting, a built-in image viewer (for cover and sample images) and a "Tag Library" where you manage your tags and tag groups.

And there are quite a lot of options you can tweak, like pagination size, search behavior, Index width, which columns are shown on the Index and their order, and quite a few other things.

There is also a "Refetch" option that lets you fetch current information from DLsite for existing works and review the changes before applying them.

The site itself supports English and Japanese UI with separate English and Japanese tag "sets". Japanese UI was mostly created using auto-translate, so quality may vary.

The easiest way to run it is with Docker Compose. Manual installation is also supported and tested with a WAMP stack.

BookOrbit v2.9.0: Automated book requests, from request to library

Hi everyone! This is my first time posting here about BookOrbit, a self-hosted library and reading platform for ebooks, PDFs, audiobooks, and comics.

The headline feature for v2.9.0 is Book Requests. https://bookorbit.app/book-requests/

Readers can request an ebook, audiobook, or comic that is missing from the library. Depending on permissions and configuration, the request can go through approval or continue automatically. BookOrbit can then:

  • Search the Torznab sources or indexer plugins configured by the administrator
  • Rank available releases and select one manually or automatically
  • Send it to qBittorrent, Transmission, or Deluge
  • Monitor the download, validate the result, and import it through the Book Dock
  • You can find plugins for MAM, LG, Project Gutenberg, Librivox .(AA in works)

The workflow is fully permission-scoped for multi-user servers. If multiple people request the same book, they join the existing request instead of creating duplicates. Sources, download clients, and automation are all opt-in, and BookOrbit does not bundle or endorse any indexer sources.

For anyone unfamiliar with BookOrbit, some of its other features include:

  • Three-way sync between the BookOrbit web reader, Kobo, and KOReader, including reading progress and annotations
  • Sync with Hardcover, Readwise, and The StoryGraph
  • Multiple libraries, 14 metadata providers, OPDS, Send-to-Kindle, OIDC/SSO, and granular multi-user permissions

v2.9.0 also adds PDF highlights and annotations in the web reader, more EPUB typography controls, SSO-only authentication, and safer automatic metadata refreshes.
