CRM with capabilities for both development and program data

Hello,

When I do any search for non-profit CRMs, I reliably only see feedback about how it works for development staff. I never see anyone review how they handle tracking program participant data of any kind (ie, tracking someone's progress through program phases, intaking program applications, etc.). You'd think more people would report on how their CRM does at, say, reporting how many people stayed in stable housing or the % growth in student test results or whatever other relevant topic a non-profit might have. I wonder if I'm biasing my search in some way that programs-focused reviews never seem to come up? I am curious if anyone has any experience using one tool for dual purposes:

1) Donor/Volunteer management

2) Programmatic documentation and reporting

If it helps to tailor the response, we have ~20k records on the development side and annually have about ~1k records on the program side.

From custom-coded CRM to "regular" CRM ?

CRM migrators/implementers/trainers: have you ever had a client come to you to move away from their own custom-coded CRM and migrate over to the platform you work with ?

Bonus question: what was the breaking point that made them realize coding their own system was a mistake ?

Built an offline-first mobile CRM for independent creators and studios. Need honest feedback on the idea.

I just published the landing page for a mobile CRM called Stuvo. It’s designed for independent, solo operators and micro-businesses who still manage bookings, clients, and batches using paper notebooks or messy WhatsApp threads.

The app is explicitly built for these categories:

Private tutors and coaching centers

Wedding photographers and video studios

Dance academies and dance instructors

Music studios and music teachers

Yoga studios and yoga instructors

Makeup artists

Art studios and art teachers

Fitness studios, gyms, and personal trainers

Most business software defaults to heavy cloud sync, but I went with a 100% offline-first approach using React Native and a local on-device SQLite database. The goal is to make it open instantly with zero network lag on spotty mobile data, while keeping their client list entirely private on their phone.

I want to know if the core idea lands properly. Does a purely offline utility focus feel like a realistic trade-off over a standard cloud web app for these types of local businesses?

Web- stuvo.in

Any feedback on the concept or the positioning would be highly appreciated.

UK-based alternative to Apollo/Instantly with leads, email, calling + CRM?

I’m based in the UK and looking for a modern sales/outbound tool or CRM that can help me:

  • Find local leads
  • Enrich contacts
  • Send cold emails/sequences
  • Call from a UK number
  • Log calls/emails/notes properly in a CRM

I’ve looked at Apollo, but it seems you can only call from a US/Canada number unless you pay around £150/month for the Advanced Dialer add-on, which feels steep when I’m UK-based and need a UK caller ID.

Are there any good alternatives that combine lead finding, email outreach, UK calling, and CRM logging in one place? Or is the better setup something like Apollo/Instantly for data/email plus Close, Aircall, Ringover, etc. for UK calling?

Would appreciate any recommendations from UK-based sales teams or founders.

Missing a service that can monitor my customers and their activity

Heyyy

Does anyone have a recommendation for a tool that monitors customer activity across channels (product usage, emails, support tickets, etc.) and flags accounts that are going quiet?

Want to get ahead of churn instead of reacting after the fact. Ideally looking for something with automated alerts or playbooks.

Would love to hear what's working for you!

Workaround for UTM Tagging in Pipedrive? (Forms don't capture UTMs)

Hey everyone,

I’m currently using Pipedrive Forms (via LeadBooster) to capture leads directly from my website. The issue I’m running into is that Pipedrive forms don't natively capture UTM parameters (source, medium, campaign) from the URL, which makes tracking marketing ROI super difficult.

I know this is a common Pipedrive limitation. What are you using as a workaround to get this data into Pipedrive?

So far, I've seen a few options mentioned:

  • Using a third-party form tool (like Jotform or Gravity Forms) that feeds into Pipedrive via Zapier.
  • Using Attributer to capture the data and map it to hidden fields.
  • Custom JavaScript on the site to parse URL parameters and push them to Pipedrive fields via API.

What is the most stable/cost-effective method you've found?

Thanks!

Running a B2B AI Automation Agency

I'm surprised by the number of people who are still in need of a custom CRM. I'm pretty picky with customers and always question requirements before I go ahead with them but most have such a niched out requirement that its hard to say no. Now, with AI especially I'm noticing alot of them want automations built in and integrated with various other tools which the current products aren't great at.

ANyone noticing the same?

I built a Simple Sales Recorder Lite CRM for Small Businesses

I recently launched an app called Simple Sales Recorder – Lite CRM on ios devices.

The idea was simple:
A lightweight CRM for small business owners who are tired of bloated software, subscriptions, and unnecessary complexity. Most CRMs today feel built for sales teams with 20 employees, endless pipelines, automations, AI features, onboarding calls, and monthly fees.

I wanted something simpler.

So I built a Lite CRM that helps:
Track sales
Save customer data
Manage products
Record suppliers
Generate invoices
Track financial performance
Export/import data
Work offline
Store everything locally on-device
No subscription.
No complicated setup.
No CRM training needed.

I thought this would be useful for:
Small shop owners
Freelancers
Dropshippers
Retailers
Solo entrepreneurs

But after releasing it, I honestly feel like there’s very little demand for “simple” business software anymore.

Most people either:
Use spreadsheets/WhatsApp forever or jump directly into big all-in-one SaaS tools

Now I’m wondering:
Is the market too small? Is “simple CRM” not a painful enough problem? Or am I positioning it incorrectly?

Would genuinely appreciate feedback from small business owners, founders, or anyone who has tried building SaaS/tools for SMEs. Also would love to know if you want any features added to the app, I do regular updates.
Search for Simple Sales Recorder on ios Appstore.

How does AI lead scoring actually work compared to manual scoring methods?

This has become a popular topic of conversation amongst our team because we’ve noticed a pattern. The teams that use AI to score leads in their CRMs seem to be closing more deals than the teams that score leads manually or score based on a basic points system.

The main difference here is that AI scores leads based on data, while manual lead scoring is done using a more static scoring method.

An example of a static method is that one might score specific job titles (like VPs) by adding 10 points and email opens by adding 5 points. This, paired with human intuition, forms the basis of manual scoring.

When it comes to predictive lead scoring using AI, it scores hundreds of thousands of deals and leads and compares the winning deals and engagement with the losing deals and related engagement.

So, the main difference is that AI lead scoring requires a larger dataset of previously scored leads and closed deals to be effective. While manual lead scoring requires little to no data and is typically based on a guess of the points that scoring leads will provide.

If a company is new to scoring leads and has plenty of closing/closed deals for the AI to parse, it can learn to score and predict winning deals. If the company has fewer than 20 closed deals, the AI will struggle to score leads. As a result, you’ll end up with deals that either don’t have any score or have an inaccurate score assigned.

This is what we know about making it work:

  • AI uses clean historical data: The “garbage in, garbage out” applies here.
  • AI picks up your patterns, not industry benchmarks.
  • AI improves as you close more deals.
  • AI lacks context, and human judgment covers that.

AI scoring can establish and back biases in your data. If your sales team dismisses leads from a particular source, the AI will learn to view them as low priority. This is true even if they are high-value leads.

AI lead scoring should be used to prioritize leads, but reps should still justify the decision and be able to prioritize based on that.
What has been your lead scoring experience? Are you doing it manually, or is your lead scoring process AI-powered?

Task Management instead of a CRM

I'm a solo founder and I'm responsible for keeping track of all of my customer actions. I thought about using a CRM but honestly even the lean ones are clunky for what I need. I just want to upload my meeting notes and transcripts, have it pick out the actions and follow ups and create tasks that I can refer back to and mark off as completed. No reporting or anything because it's just me.

Has anyone found a good product for this case? I built one for myself and liked it so I figured I'd see if anyone else found that to be an issue

What AI features that actually helped productivity

Been reading on this and many of information sound like bots. So I would try and see if AI sloppers won't kill this thread.

I would love to hear those who used AI in CRM whatever it is and found useful. Please keep CRM name to yourself to avoid self promo and help downcote those who does.

Disclosure: We are doing research for our own crm to decide the direction. Don't ask CRM name please. Don't wanna get that downvote :)

CRM for statewide coalition?

I am in charge of an effort to regroup and reorganize a statewide coalition. currently, the coalition uses Wild Apricot which is satisfactory for managing the database, sending out email blasts, and curating a membership package that our (~1000) contacts can opt to join in. However, the yearly price just does not justify the coalitions budget when there a plenty of Wild Apricot features that simply will never get used (website builder, online store, etc). As I have been searching the web for Wild Apricot alternatives, someone recommended I look into CRMs such as little green light. Does anyone else here know of implementing a CRM for a coalition or similar sized nonprofit? Is there a champion CRM that works for general membership dues and email reminders? I figured mail chimp could solve the email blast necessity but any recommendation on a platform that can track user payments and provide documentation of paying members will go a long way.

Built a Google Maps lead scraper with an actual outbound workflow — want to try it free?

Got tired of paying for tools that just dump a spreadsheet and call it lead generation. Spent the last couple weeks building my own Chrome extension that pulls leads directly from Google Maps with data that actually matters when you're doing cold outreach.

Here's what it does right now:

  • Search any business type in any city across all 50 states — roofers in Columbus, landscapers in Chicago, dentists in Dallas. Manually scrap or automatically scrape cities while afk.
  • Find businesses with no website.
  • GBP info
  • Surface businesses with low review counts and zero owner responses — clear signals they're not managing their online presence
  • Pull owner names directly from Google decently accurate.
  • Scrape emails
  • See which businesses are open right now at the time you're dialing — no more wasted calls to closed shops
  • Score every lead hot, warm, or cold automatically based on signals you configure
  • Manage leads in the tool and excel sheet.

Been running it internally with my own SDR team. Doubled our outreach volume and It changed how we prioritize calls completely.

Opening it up for honest feedback. Free tier is 1,000 leads/month + 500 enrichments, no credit card, no catch.

Not dropping a link — drop a comment or DM me and I'll get you access. All I ask is real feedback on whether the data is actually useful compared to what you're paying for now.

Outdated crm data is destroying b2b pipeline visibility and sales performance.

Spent my morning digging through what should be a fresh inbound lead from marketing. Turns out the buyer spilled their entire life story on LinkedIn two weeks ago, pain points, budget range, everything. None of that made it to Salesforce. Just a name and a company, because apparently typing is harder than quantum physics.

Now i am walking into discovery calls blind as a bat, pretending i know their deal while they wonder why i am asking questions they already answered to the SDR. Meanwhile execs up top are scratching their heads why pipeline looks like a ghost town and marketing ROI is in the toilet.

Tried AI SDR tools for instant qualification and lead routing automation, but half the time the CRM integration works technically, but not meaningfully.

Even with scheduling tools and conversational tools in the mix, the handoff still breaks. High intent buyers don’t arrive as understood accounts, they arrive as empty records we have to reconstruct manually.

At this point it feels less like a funnel and more like a memory problem we keep outsourcing to tools that forget everything in transit. Anyone solved B2B lead qualification without turning every deal into detective work?

Email sync filtering in pipedrive

Just started using pipedrive and set up email sync, but I'm getting every email pulled in, that vast majority of which have nothing to do with sales; I was hoping to filter emails not associated with a pipedrive contact but a) couldn't find that option and b) thinking through what happens when someone sends me an email who isn't currently a contact.

I've considered whether there is a way to route incoming sales emails to a certain folder via gmail (eg info@ adds a label and only those labels are pulled into pipedrive sync)

Anyone dealt with this successfully?

I built a CRM & Google Maps scraper that can check phone numbers to separate landline from mobile

All in one dashboard a CRM where you type in the city, state or just zip code. Type in what industry you want. And it pulls up to 60 businesses at once. All the info that Google Maps has. Puts them in a list. And then press a button and it verifies the line type. So it sorts by mobile, landline, voip, or toll free. You can skip the landlines because receptionists just “take a message” for the owner and throw it away. Call only the mobile numbers and pitch your B2B service. Up to 18,000 leads per month. It’s in beta mode right now. Looking for some users that wanna test it out. I’ve been testing hard for about a month and I think I worked out all the bugs
