Hello everyone! You've probably seen some of my other posts on this subreddit. I'm one of the developers behind the open-source BFA server, and our team is working hard to build the most stable, community-driven 8.3.7 emulator out there. Beyond the code, we are bringing this world to life on Nazmir, our progressive BFA realm.
Hereβs a little update about the progress of our BFA-HavenCore:
P.S. Thereβs probably some other stuff missing from this list.
However, thereβs still a lot of work to be done, and weβre looking for more contributors who would like to help us.
Thanks for all the support! It means a lot to us.

| nos4 is a complete recreation of IOS4 running on web. It was just a little experimental side project but I've decided to make it live and open-sourced. It has all the original apps in the original form, also 2 games (and yes, it runs Doom) Give it a Star: https://github.com/1etu/nos4 Also you can give it a try by visiting https://nos4.fun/ [link] [comments] |

| ok so this is a weird one but bear with me i have a pet blog. i don't own a pet. never have. probably never will as i travel too much. and yet every month amazon sends me enough to cover rent because people on the internet are buying stuff for their dogs and cats through my site. bought my pet blog a few months ago from a marketplace called NicheBlogZone for $199. came already built, articles already up, amazon links already in there. i spent one afternoon doing interlinking basically just connecting related posts to each other so search engines understand the site structure and then closed my laptop and genuinely forgot about it for weeks. here's what that's looked like:
march scared me. went from nearly $1k in february down to $710 and i was convinced something had broken. checked everything, found nothing wrong, did nothing. it just came back the next month on its own. pet people spend insane amounts on their animals btw. like i knew this intellectually but seeing the commission data is something else. dog food subscriptions, orthopedic beds, grooming kits, vet supplements. and because of the 24 hour cookie i get a cut of everything in their cart not just whatever article they landed on. i do literally nothing to maintain this. no new posts, no ads, no instagram for pets i don't have. i just own the thing and amazon does its thing. my landlord has been getting paid every month and has no idea a pet blog is behind it. honestly sometimes i forget too until the deposit shows up. anyone else running a niche they have zero personal connection to? curious if the detachment makes it easier or harder to care about growing it [link] [comments] |
It's works is the crazy thing.
He has a website with 122 pages, and he told me that whenever updates happen or patches sometimes like fonts will break on his website and everything gets messed up. If I could fix that he'd buy it from me.
I made it. I'm willing to run it on some public domains,
Loop
I snapshot the public pages that take money
The site changes theme update, app, patch, whatever
You get a report: what changed, what is broken, how to fix it
You tell me when itβs fixed. I recheck and send a receipt that it is actually fixed
Public pages only. No login no credit card.
I'm running it for free tonight only.
Anybody wanna try new tech?
I tried this as a side gig in the past but it took so long and I needed to charge more than my clients would agree too. How do you justify the price/ how do you do it without spending too much time?
Its very important to start with this: This guy is/was an AMAZING designer. Our SaaS looked genuinely amazing and unique; every aspect of UX was always the priority and done flawlessly. It went to a point where emails praising our whole user experience and UI were common. Same goes for anything else related to our branding and marketing; hell he even chimed in on some great company shirts.

Its started falling apart a year or two ago, when llms started being "good".
He became obsessed with Claude. Every workflow is now a "Claude project", every design system is now an "AI design system", every decision and every thought is run through an LLM, every api is now an mcp.
When we get on a call, and lets say i ask him a question, he opens Claude on screen share and just asks it the question, fully relying on the result.
Not everything above is inherently bad; if the resulting product is good, workflow can be whatever is easiest. But the product is NO LONGER GOOD. Every single design and component we make these days looks exactly like a vibe-coded website made by a 15yo.
He no longer designs, he just asks claude for a design, and is somehow amazed by it and genuinely thinks its good. So we just ship it to prod. How this is happening for a guy with his experience and feel for design, i have no idea.
We are losing branding; we are regressing each day. There is no style guides (that arent for agents), no unique components, not even brand colors or any deep research that used to go into all that. It just whatever claude spits out and approves, with minimal tweaking.
---
As a closing thought, this is also not a guy who is just "checked out" at work; I can even respect that to a degree. This is someone who still works 8hours+ and is beyond active and collaborates with every team. The only thing that worsened is everything he outputs, and it's all AI generated.
I expect this type of story from people who were never good in the first place, or for people who just stopped caring. But for someone with genuine talent, its heartbreaking.
Just a quick story, no real point to it, nor am I expecting any advice (its not my problem to solve), just wanted to share it.
