Resolved - Our Engineering team has confirmed the full resolution of the issue with the upstream provider. Users should now be able to deploy to App Platform and manage their Spaces Buckets as normal.
If you continue to experience problems, please open a ticket with our support team. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Monitoring - Our Engineering team has identified that the ongoing issue with the upstream provider is also impacting DigitalOcean Spaces. They continue to monitor the ongoing issue with the upstream provider impacting DigitalOcean Spaces and App Platform services.
Improvements are being seen with lower error rates and latency for App Platform deployments as well as for fetching Spaces endpoints.
We apologize for the inconvenience and will share further updates in the due course.

During the above window, our Networking team will be making changes to the core networking infrastructure to improve performance and scalability in the NYC1 region.
Expected impact:
While no service disruption is expected during the scheduled maintenance window, there is a low risk of hardware failure associated with the activity. In such a scenario, customers may experience brief interruptions to network traffic within the affected region. If triggered, our Engineering teams will respond immediately to isolate and mitigate the impact.

I am running a multisite environment (70+ sites) where some sites need to have the same "ribbon menu" above my main navigation. I currently have one theme and would like to keep it that way.
How can I add a "checkbox" to my theme settings that, if checked, will insert a specific twig file in a region. Otherwise, that twig file is not inserted.
I was able to do something similar in D7, but can't figure out how to do it in D8/10 and Drupal's documentation isn't very clear.
| I’m looking for a CMS to build a website for a ski and snowboard school to promote its courses. One of the website pages should display a list of course names with their cover photos, locations, and dates, with the ability to click through to a detail page where visitors can purchase the course. An example is attached. Ideally, it would also be possible to organize courses by categories and provide a search functionality based on categories, locations, dates, and other criteria. However, this is more of a “nice to have” feature for the future rather than a top priority at the beginning. The last time I worked on a website was more than 15 years ago, when I used Joomla. I have never used Drupal before, so now I’m looking for the right CMS to meet these needs. Could Drupal be a good option? Are there any free or one-time-purchase extensions that could cover these requirements? If not, how complex would the development be? For context, I work as an SAP consultant and mainly code in ABAP. I assume I could handle some simple web development tasks myself, but in case of more complex requirements I would likely hire a specialist. [link] [comments] |

| Hi community, I have built a language server for Drupal and used it daily the last 8 months. This language server allows you to do Drupal development in LSP compatible code editors such as neovim or VSCode. Some of the features include: - Completion for service names, permissions, route names, and various plugin IDs. - Go to definition on services, controllers, and routes. - Snippets for hooks, form elements, and render elements. NB: I have not tested it in VSCode and it probably requires a small code change to write the integration, but it follows the standard LSP specification, so no major work is required to integrate it. During the above window, our Engineering team will be performing power maintenance in our SFO2 data center cages to ensure infrastructure stability.
Expected Impact:
All devices run on redundant power. We do not expect any customer impact during this maintenance. If the redundant power feed experiences an issue during the course of the maintenance (which is unlikely), customers could see impact to existing resources housed in the affected cages, including Droplets, rDNS, and Object Storage. We will post updates if any unexpected outage occurs.
To help ensure a safe operation, we've temporarily reduced Droplet capacity in our SFO2 region. Customers who deploy Droplets in SFO2 may see some sizes unavailable or run into capacity errors for large deployments. This is temporary, so if you do encounter an error, we encourage you to try to deploy once more once the maintenance is complete.
Our engineering and operations teams are onsite and will be monitoring affected systems closely throughout the maintenance. Emergency notifications will be sent promptly if any critical impacts arise.
We appreciate your understanding as we work to resolve this situation as quickly and safely as possible.
If you have any questions related to this maintenance please send us a ticket from your cloud support page. https://cloudsupport.digitalocean.com/s/createticket
