Have you built your own CRM using AI? How was your experience?

Hi there. I'm researching how companies build hyper-personalized in-house solutions using AI to get off of big SaaS platforms like monday or salesforce. I'm curious to know if anyone here has any experience with that.

  • Was the migration tough?
  • Has it been a lasting solution?
  • Are you happy with your new solution?
  • What was the most challenging parts of building the solution and migrating to it?
  • Is there need for constant services and care after the migration? Mainenance, upgrading, etc. If yes, how often and in what size of effort?

Thanks in advance for your attention.

Is monday.com free falling?!

I have been building a business doing monday services for 2 years now. I initially picked monday because of the great community and support they had for their partners and how much they cared about their clients.

In 2026 however it feels like it is free falling. I see features being released that haven’t been tested well and are buggy and obv vibe coded. I see their community switching to a clunky new system that’s a torture to use. I see their subreddit is totally unmoderated and full of ai answers. But what made me legit worried was seeing reports of people not being able to get in touch with customer support! I’m losing hope. What do you think? What’s the future of work management and CRM? Where to move next?

For context I am a MSc in CS graduate with years of software engineering experience; I switched to this as I could build hyper custom solutions and I wanted to start a company. What a confusing time to do that btw.
