Did anyone here actually vibe code or build their own CRM in-house instead of paying for Salesforce or HubSpot?

With AI dev tools getting so good, I keep wondering if standard CRMs are still worth it.

If you’ve actually taken the plunge and built your own (or vibe-coded an internal app that handles your CRM stuff), how’d it go?

Mainly curious about:

* What stack or tools you used to build it

* What ended up being way harder than expected (email/calendar sync, edge cases, maintenance?)

* If the upside of having a tailored UI/workflow was actually worth the effort

* Bottom line: would you do it again, or just buy off-the-shelf next time?
