I run a service business in Europe with a few thousand active customers with average check like $15, and now we’re moving more appointment reminders and status updates into our CRM (btw I vibe coded prototype and after that my dev guy make it usable).

The main thing I care about is uptime. Missing or delaying a campaign during busy periods always creates a mess for support and we can't afford huge support dep now, so I’d rather pay more for something dependable than chase the cheapest rate.

For anyone here sending bulk SMS regularly, what setup do you prefer and how reliable has it been under heavier volume? Maybe something open sourced or developed inhouse? Grateful.

bump-ed: signed for a trial period with Acudo. At first I was thinking of going for Twilio as well-known option, but I didn’t want to bother with the overly lengthy set-up process and I also heard mixed reviews from other users.
