I currently access my homelab through subdomains, which is really convenient. I’m considering switching to a VPN to reduce exposure, but I’m worried it’ll be annoying to constantly connect to it whenever I need my homelab.

For those using a VPN for homelab access: how is it in everyday use? Do you find it annoying or barely notice it?
