Cheap domains with reliable privacy for client sites and pci stuff

So... freelance web dev here and I just realized how sketchy some of the cheap domains I used are when it comes to privacy. One client is about to take cards on their site and now they are asking about pci and who can see their info in whois.

If you do client work, do you stick to the cheap domain registrars with privacy toggles or pay more for ones that have whois privacy on by default plus dnssec plus sane dns tools. Trying not to move every domain at once but lowkey worried rn... .

Best domain registrar for domains, email, and website hosting... what are people using rn

Been trying to clean up my little stack and move a few domains off random old providers. I kinda want one place that can handle domains and basic email and simple hosting without it turning into some giant cloud project.

For context its like 5 small sites, a couple inboxes per domain, nothing huge, but I care about dns reliability and not getting stuck in some nightmare ui. Been looking at the usual big names and idk if i should just split it up or keep it all in one spot. Appreciate any thoughts.
