dialing numbers by hand all day, jumping across windows, and stressing over missed callbacks.

Big-name CRMs are very expensive when you start out and are complete overkill when you work for yourself, while most sales tools feel bloated just to make a phone call.

So I built my own thing: Prospect Legend.

It’s a 100% local Windows app designed for freelancers (no cloud, no APIs, no accounts: you actually keep your data to yourself) that turns any .xlsx spreadsheet into a smooth workflow cockpit.

It lets you import your Excel file to click-and-call, instantly log outcomes so contacts automatically sort into the right tabs, and fire off pre-filled follow-up templates straight from your sheet (you can set up 4 custom templates).

You also get a built-in calendar for reminders so you never drop the ball, plus a bit of gamification with an XP system to keep morale up.
