I’ve been working on a tool called Aerostic for businesses that run heavily on WhatsApp

One thing I noticed while talking to small businesses is that WhatsApp often becomes their unofficial CRM.

A customer sends a message β†’ someone replies β†’ the conversation gets buried β†’ nobody follows up β†’ the lead is gone.

So we’re building Aerostic around that problem.

The idea is to bring WhatsApp, AI, CRM and automation into one place.

For example, a business can have an AI agent handle initial enquiries, qualify leads, follow up with people who haven't responded, and keep the customer information organized in a CRM. A human can step in whenever the conversation actually needs one.

The goal isn't to replace the sales team.

It's to remove the repetitive work around the sales team.

We're still improving the product, so I'm curious:

How do you currently manage customer enquiries that come through WhatsApp?

Spreadsheet? WhatsApp Business? CRM? Everything manually?

I'd especially like to hear what actually works and what doesn't.

After building websites for 300+ businesses, I noticed most clients don't actually need "just a website."

Over the last few years, I've built websites for businesses across different industriesβ€”clinics, agencies, real estate, education, retail, and local service businesses.

One thing became obvious.

Most clients initially ask for "a website."

But after launch, they come back asking for things like:

  • CRM to manage leads
  • WhatsApp integration
  • Appointment booking
  • AI chatbot
  • Invoice & billing
  • Lead tracking
  • Email automation
  • Analytics dashboard
  • Staff management
  • Inventory
  • Customer follow-ups

At that point, the website becomes only 10–20% of what they actually need.

That's why I'm experimenting with a different approach.

Instead of treating the website as the final product, I'm building it as the front door to a modular business platform where businesses can enable only the features they need.

For example:

  • 🦷 Dental clinic β†’ Appointments + Patient CRM + WhatsApp reminders
  • 🏑 Real estate β†’ Property CRM + Lead automation + AI follow-ups
  • πŸ‹οΈ Gym β†’ Membership management + Payments + Attendance
  • πŸŽ“ Academy β†’ Student portal + Course management + Notifications

The website stays the same, but the business modules are different.

I'm curious how other developers handle this.

Do you usually stop at the website, or do your clients eventually ask for internal tools and automations too?

I'd love to hear your experience.

I got tired of switching between 10 different business tools, so I'm building a modular AI CRM.

Over the past year, I noticed a pattern with small businesses.

They use:

  • A CRM for leads
  • WhatsApp for communication
  • Calendly for bookings
  • Google Sheets for tracking
  • Mailchimp for campaigns
  • AI tools for content
  • Zapier/n8n for automation
  • Separate dashboards for reports

Nothing actually works together.

So instead of building another generic CRM, I'm experimenting with a modular AI operating system where businesses only install the features they need.

Some of the modules I'm working on:

  • πŸ“ Google Maps Lead Scraper
  • πŸ€– AI Workforce
  • πŸ’¬ WhatsApp AI Agent (Official Cloud API)
  • πŸ‘₯ CRM
  • πŸ“… Smart Appointments
  • πŸ’³ Sales & Billing
  • πŸ“¦ Inventory
  • πŸŽ₯ Teleconsultation
  • πŸŽ™οΈ AI Voice Calling
  • πŸ“ˆ Analytics
  • 🌐 Website/Landing Page Builder
  • ...and custom modules businesses can add later.

The idea is that a dental clinic, travel agency, gym, real estate company, or law firm shouldn't all be forced to use the same CRM. They should start with a base platform and enable only the modules relevant to them.

The biggest challenge isn't building featuresβ€”it's making AI reliable enough to perform real business actions while keeping everything auditable, recoverable, and easy for non-technical teams.

Here's the current module selection screen from the prototype.

I'm looking for honest feedback.

If you run a business:

  • What's the one module you'd install first?
  • What's one feature you think every CRM still gets wrong?

Built an AI WhatsApp CRM after getting frustrated with expensive tools β€” Looking for feedback

Hey everyone,

Over the last few months, I've been building an AI-powered WhatsApp CRM because I was tired of using multiple tools for simple business workflows.

Most platforms were either:

  • Too expensive
  • Too complicated
  • Missing AI features
  • Required lots of integrations

So I decided to build one myself.

Current Features

βœ… Official WhatsApp Cloud API
βœ… AI Chatbot (trained on your website & documents)
βœ… CRM with lead management
βœ… AI Follow-ups
βœ… Broadcast Messaging
βœ… Workflow Automation
βœ… Appointment Booking
βœ… Shared Team Inbox
βœ… Templates & Campaigns
βœ… Analytics Dashboard
βœ… Website & Landing Page Integration

The goal is to give small businesses everything in one dashboard instead of paying for 5–6 different tools.

I'm currently offering:

  • 🎁 14-Day Free Trial
  • πŸ’° β‚Ή1499 plan for just β‚Ή499/month (limited-time launch offer)

I'm not here just to promote itβ€”I genuinely want feedback.

I'd love to know:

  • What features are must-haves in a WhatsApp CRM?
  • What's your biggest pain point with WhatsApp automation?
  • Which CRM are you currently using?
  • What would make you switch?

I'd really appreciate any honest feedback, criticism, or feature suggestions. Thanks! πŸš€
