I am a Motion Designer and want to rebuild my portfolio. (I currently have one made with Semplice which was nice at the time but in the end very limited and doesn't have any symbols logic).

I have been fairly interested in Breakdance builder, but I am not sure about how the licence works : Let say I buy a yearly license and built my portfolio on it.
Can I still add some projects and new content after the license expires and use the visual editor ? Like in the way that yearly license is only for new updates and support but you still keep full use of the tool ?
Or will I be barely able to use the tool and modify anything with it after the license expires ? (If so, I think I'd better use Framer even if it's also quite limited).

Added support for io_uring in the HTTP coroutine server. The HTTP coroutine server can now utilize the high-performance io_uring event mechanism. Enable it by adding the --enable-uring_socket option during compilation for better I/O performance.

io_uring is a Linux kernel system call interface for storage device asynchronous I/O operations.

It works by creating two circular buffers, called "queue rings", to track the submission and completion of I/O requests, respectively. For storage devices, these are called the submission queue (SQ) and completion queue (CQ). Keeping these buffers shared between the kernel and application helps to boost the I/O performance by eliminating the need to issue extra and expensive system calls to copy these buffers between the two.

I've been building PHP backends for 20+ years. The question always comes up: how do you make navigation feel instant without pulling in a JS framework?

I built µJS to answer that. It intercepts link clicks and form submissions, fetches pages via `fetch()`, and swaps the content. No full page reload, no CSS interpretation, no framework, no build step.

Setup:

That's it. All internal links are now AJAX. Your PHP backend doesn't change.

What µJS sends to your server:

• X-Requested-With: XMLHttpRequest — lets you detect AJAX requests and return lighter HTML if needed
• X-Mu-Mode — the current injection mode (replace, update, prepend, append…)

So on the PHP side, you can do:

Patch mode lets a single response update multiple DOM fragments. It's useful for forms that update a list, a counter, and reset themselves:

Your PHP script returns plain HTML with `mu-patch-target` attributes. No JSON, no special format.

Live search, polling, SSE are also built-in if you need them.

Tengo tarjetas de créditos con Bac y ya es como la tercera ocasión que me clonan una tarjeta de ellos. Ya tenía sospechas que estos fraudes venian de adentro, pòrque una de las tarjetas que me clonaron siempre la tenía en mi cuarto (cuarto al que nadie mas entra), y solo la manejo con la adicional pero el fraude se realizó a la tarjeta principal. En estos días me clonaron otra tarjeta, primero me pasaron 0.35 a mi tarjeta principal, y al siguiente día me pasaron 5 transacciones por 490. y pico en la adicional. Por qué mis sospechas? Le tengo un límite de 500.00 a la adicional y el banco no me ha explicado cómo pudieron hacer uso de 2500.00 teniendo un límite de 500.00, y cómo sabian los estafadores que la tarjeta tenía dicho límite y de alguna manera lograron hacer 5 transacciones sin que pasara este límite pero por montos casi al limite?

Alguno ha tenido este tipo de situaciones especificamente con el Bac? Y dónde puedo denunciar esto? Porque siento que denunciarlo en atención al cliente del banco es lo mismo que no hacer nada

My personal website was born with a dark theme, and I wanted to give my users the option to switch to a light version.

I searched for existing WordPress plugins, but I found that almost all of them are designed only to force a "Dark Mode" on light websites. I couldn't find anything lightweight or 100% customizable to do the opposite (Dark to Light) properly.

So, I decided to build my own solution. After using it on my site for a while, I recently decided to polish it and release it for free on the official repository.

How it works: > It’s a bi-directional toggle. It doesn't matter if your base theme is light or dark, it handles the switch both ways using CSS variables.

I have been away from WordPress for years but thought I would dip my toes in again.

In the old days I would have used WAMP server to run locally. Is there any better, more modern way, or is this still an acceptable way to test locally?

Can we normalize just building a standard React SPA with Vite again without feeling guilty that we aren't using Next.js?

The App Router and React Server Components are incredibly powerful, but the amount of gaslighting in the frontend ecosystem right now is insane. Not every internal dashboard, simple CRUD app, or personal portfolio needs server side rendering, edge functions, and a complex caching layer that requires a PhD to invalidate.

Sometimes you just want to spin up Vite, fetch some data on the client, and deploy a static bundle to a CDN for practically zero dollars. It feels like we are completely over engineering 90% of our web apps just to chase the newest Vercel paradigm.
